Horticulture Manager

The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) seeks a self-driven, collaborative professional to serve as Horticulture Manager for DCH’s greening and education programs. The horticulture manager is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position reporting to the Director of Programs. 

This position provides the necessary planning, direction, and oversight to ensure the successful, high-quality implementation of projects and the maintenance of associated contracts. DCH’s horticulture manager is also responsible for the creative design, seasonal display, and maintenance of the gardens around DCH, working collaboratively with DCH’s Branches to Chances® and Delaware River Climate Corps (DRCC) programs and volunteers. This position contributes horticultural expertise to other greening projects, education programs, and facility rentals and events.

Grants Manager

The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, collaborative
professional to fill its open Grants Manager position. The Grants Manager is a full-time, exempt position
reporting to the Director of Advancement. The Grants Manager is part of a team responsible for the full
range of fundraising activities for the organization, including grant writing and reporting for
public/governmental agencies, private foundations and corporations. Specifically, this position is
responsible for initial research and vetting of grant opportunities, writing proposals for both
unrestricted operating revenue and program grants, budget development, and for collaborating with
other staff to submit timely and accurate reports for grant-funded projects.
