Garden description: Our front garden beds are crowded with bright crayon box colors and lots of textures. Many shades of green in the foliage provide a cool background for a variety of burgeoning blooms! Who are the gardeners: My husband Steve and I are the happy caretakers of our garden. We enjoy being outdoors and working in our garden. And we love the results of our work. Each season of the year, we find great pleasure in what the garden produces.
Why do you garden: For recreation and pleasure. It is so satisfying to work out in nature and make a bit of our city beautiful for passer bys to enjoy.
How has gardening impacted you during this time: It’s been a wonderful way to spend time! Working in the garden has helped us stay in good spirits.
What do you have in your garden? Many day lilies, cone flowers, rudbeckia, begonias, St.John’s Wort, hypericum, columbine, coreopsis, crocosmia, baptisia, grumbled, Cranesbill, hosts, calla lilies, strawflowers, snapdragons, penstemon, astilbe.
Do you have any problems with disease or pests? If so, how are you dealing with this problem? No problems.
