Winter Pruning Lecture

Location: DCH Founder’s Room 

Join our Community Forester, Heather Titanich, in learning how to properly prune and maintain trees. We will cover the basics of tree anatomy, pruning timing and technique, and recommended tools. This indoor lecture will be followed by a short walk around DCH grounds for demonstration. Heather holds a B.S. in Forest Resource and Environmental Conservation from Virginia Tech, is an ISA Certified Arborist, and has earned her Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
