Garden description: My Garden is an extension of my home. A pleasant Oasis. Stepping from the rigors of life to a time gone by of relaxation and leisure. An oasis that provides refuge, relief, and pleasant contrast to life.
Who are the gardeners: I am 69 and always have worked with gardening. Traveled extensively for business and always returned home with ant seed that I could collect coast to coast. Worked for Nature Company and Discovery Channel Retail.
Why do you garden: The garden is my Domain and Sanctuary.
How has gardening impacted you during this time: I am retired and Gardening gives you a sense of purpose and accomplishment. I work part time for Lowes Home Improvement in the outside garden and water all the plants.
What do you have in your garden? Cymbidium Orchids, Azaleas, Ferns. Giant Bird Of Paradise. Red Poppies, Iris, Climbing Yellow Jasmine, Clivia, Ivy Geranium, and watched over by St Francis of Assisi for Nature lovers and gardens.
Do you have any problems with disease or pests? If so, how are you dealing with this problem? No.
